Details :	Protecting the King of Jungle Tigers are mammals of the same family as cats. These large cats are unique in appearance and behavior. They are nocturnal animals who hunt at night. Tigers are recognized as the King of the jungle and hunters of exceptional skill. However, the rapid decrease in tiger population in recent years makes it imperative for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to seriously step up its tiger conservation efforts.
