3.00 Baht (Design 1) Illustrates Wat Phra si Rattanasatsadaram (The Temple of the Emerald Buddha), the Royal Chapel, is situated at the eastern corner of the Grand Palace, was initiated by King Rama I, the first King of Chakri Dynasty. Following the tradition of the ancient time, he had a temple constructed in the palace and housed the Emerald Buddha. There is no resident monks in the temple.
3.00 Baht (Design 2) Illustrates Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram (Wat Pho). referred to as "Thailand's first open university" which served as a centre of several traditional Thai knowledge and has maintained the beautiful mural paintings.
