Details :	Important temples in Bangkok 3.00 Baht (Design 1) Illustrates Wat Phra si Rattanasatsadaram (The Temple of the Emerald Buddha), the Royal Chapel, is situated at the eastern corner of the Grand Palace, was initiated by King Rama I, the first King of Chakri Dynasty. Following the tradition of the ancient time, he had a temple constructed in the palace and housed the Emerald Buddha. There is no resident monks in the temple. 3.00 Baht (Design 2) Illustrates Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram (Wat Pho). referred to as "Thailand's first open university" which served as a centre of several traditional Thai knowledge and has maintained the beautiful mural paintings. 4.00 Baht Illustrates Wat Arun Ratchawararam (The Temple of the Dawn), where the famous stupa (prang) is situated. The temple used to be the Royal Chapel during Thon Buri period. 12.00 Baht Illustrates Wat Benchamabophit Dusit Wanaram (The Marble Temple) King Chulalongkorn (King Rama V) commanded the construction of a large temple near Suan Dusit Palace.
