It is such a coincidence that 4 of the greastest writers of Thailand, all of which have leaved behind great literatures, happen to be born within the same year. A hundred years pass by, Thailand Writing Association is please to set up a celebration for these four greast authors, and that is the origin of this stamp set.
First authors, Dokmaisod or M.L.Bupha Nimmanhemin (born Feb 17th 1905) has written two very popular literatures such as; "Pidkrungrake" (First Mistake), and "Samchai" (3 Men). Though she did not write many books, but she was praised as one of the best authors in family drama area.
SriBurapha, or Mr.Kularb Saipradit (born Mar 31st 1905) is both a writer and newspaper columnist in the comunist era in the 1930. His famous writing are "Laepaikarngna" (Looking forward) and "Karnglungparp" (Behind the scene).
Maimuangderm, or Mr.Kan Pungbun Na Ayudhya (born 1905) is the author of local style literatures such as "Prekol" (old scar), "Sansaab" (hurtful), "Muand Song", "Larng Barng" (wipeout), "Sarnpeingta", "Kweanhuk" (broken cart", and "Kunsuk" (warriors).
Royal Highness Arkatdumkeung Rabibhadana (born Nov. 12th 1905) doesn't have a pen name like all the other writers we mentioned. His famous writing, which is also his first literature is Lakornhangchevit (dramatic series) |
