Since His Ascension to the Throne on June 9, 1946, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej has devoted his life to a whole host of different activities to upgrade and improve the living stands of the Thai people. His Majesty the King's natural talent, flair and innovative projects in a wide variety of different fields, have been widely recognized and greatly appreciated by all Thai people and equally admire by the international community.
In June 2006, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration will hold celebrations on the occasion of H.M. the King's 60th Anniversary of His Accession to the Throne. Kings, Queens, Royal families and dignitaries from many countries around the world will attend this great function to honour His Majesty the King.
