Six Decades of the Royal Marriage
On 28th April, 1950, the wedding ceremorny of His Majesty King Bhumibol and M.R. Sirikit Kittiyakara was held at the royal residence of Queen Savang Vadhana, the Queen Grandmother, at Srapathum Palace. Lieutenant General Mangkorn Promyothi, Minister of Interior, presented a marriage certificate to the King to sign. Then it was signed by M.R. Sirikit, M.C. Nakkhatra Mongol and M.L. Bua Kittiyakara, respectively.
