The Year of the Dragon (the Serpent)
The Year of the Dragon is the fifth in the zodiac cycle, having the Dragon or the Serpent as a symbol. The Dragon represebts virtue and sanctity. However, those who view the Dragon as a representative of evil or as a mysterious or natural power, takeit to be a medium of destruction. The perception of the Dragon differs in different areas on earth according to the popular imagination of each country.
