Details :	Establishment of Air Force The Ministry of Defense has established "Department of Aviation" which is the first division of the Army and selected qualified three military officers to study aviation course in France. They were Mr. Pantri Luangsaksaiyawut, Captain Luang-awut Sikhikorn and Army Lieutenant Tip Gedtut. Later these three officers were being promoted as Air Marshal Phraya Chalerm Akas, Group Captain Phraya Veha Sayan Silprasith and Group Captain Phraya Tayarn Pikad respectively. In addition, they were honored by the Air Force as "Parents of the Royal Thai Air Force". With solid foundation, Thailand's aviation business has been developing continuously. Many times, the organization's status has been raised. On April 9, 1937, the organization was being named "the Royal Thai Air Force". Hence the day is being designated as "Royal Thai Army Force Day".
