The Bank of the People
In continuation of the 99th anniversary of the Government Savings Bank last year, this year series will display four headquarters buildings from four periods, starting from the first period as the "Saving Treasury" in the Grand Palace from April 1, 1913. Later on it was transferred to be under the jurisdiction of the Post and Telegraph Department in 1929 at the end of King Rama I Bridge and followed by becoming the Government Savings Bank under the supervision of Ministry of Finance in 1950 on Ratchadamnoen Avenue until its latest movement in 1966 to Phaholyothin Street up to the present time when it commemorates its first century as a trusted financial institution under the slogan: "Securities and Securities in Public Services."
