Royal Irrigation, the Mission for the Land
The Royal Irrigation Department was founded during the Reign of King Rama V on June 13, 1902 under the name of "Canals Department". Its vital mission is to look after the efficient water management in order to prevent the shortage and overabundance in all sectors, to protect and mitigate water hazards, both short term and long term. Its role in providing happiness in living to the public has been continuously developed and carried on for a long time until its 111th anniversary this year.
Design: Illustrating the implementation of the Royal Irrigation Department missions: water resource development, water management, and prevention and alleviation of damages from water in order to provide a better living for people, together with the 111th Anniversary of RID's logo.
