Children of ASEAN - Preparation for entering into ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015


     Last year, Thailand Post has issued National Children's Day stamp collection which illustrates main characters in Thai literatures or folklores that are well known. These characters were portrayed in cartoons. This year, realizing the importance of preparation for entering into ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015, Thailand Post will disseminate information about traditional costumes of AEC member countries through the National Children's Day 2013 Commemorative Stamp. The new collection will portray cartoon characters wearing national costumes of the 10 member countries, including Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
